Abstract was having fun. He didn't know why he was having fun, but he was just feeling happy at the moment. So, he was assuming he was having fun. An odd thing to have fun.
He was sitting at the edge of one of the prisoner holes- it was empty- swinging his legs around for no real reason. In plain view. Abstract was though, drawing of course. He was drawing the view of his own legs swinging over the muddy pit. Only instead of a muddy pit, he was drawing down there what he thought the inside of a black hole might look like.
Humming to himself he finished his legs and started drawing random circles. Yet again, he didn't know why. Abstract didn't know why sometimes, he just knew that it was happening. And if it was sometimes happening, then it was better to just go along with it.

Chloe looked around. Everything looked grayish and dull. Disgusting realy, coated with dirt and grime. Small tufts of grass jetted out here and there. Pleasnt in an odd way. She was on a stroll, brown hair tied back in a pony-tail hanging out of the back of her torn navy cap. She had no idea where she was going, basicly on a stroll around main territory by herself.
She spotted a dirty blonde head out amoung the dirt and grime. It didnt stick out to much, but she knew who it was, Abstract. He had been one of the people that came with her. He was there with that blasted paper pad, but then, she rather have him drawing on that then going around murdering everyone in sight. She walked over to him and squated down next to him and looked at his pad. A veiw of his feet, interesting. They were near one of the larger pits, one of her tribes favorite pass times. Not to fun to her, but she wandered over every once in a while. She just squatted there, looking out across the pit to the horizon of crumbled buildings and towers. The sun was just above the towers and buildings, red light barely flooding the sky with hints of orange and blue.

As he kept drawing his blackhole- only now that he was done with circles, he was making the background behind the circles a one of those graphs. The graph was going downwards. He decided that after he was done with the graph, he would draw what was left of the horizon...
" C'hello." That was what he said- of course it was Chloe's name, he couldn't be much bothered to say her entire name- the first letter worked just fine. And he was greeting her. Relatively nice for him. " You're staring at the sky again." From most people, it might be a question- from him it was a statement. He usually didn't ask questions.

Chloe blinked and turned back to Abstract, breaking her contact with the horizon. She didnt expect him to say anything. She blinked and then returned his greeting with a 'hello' and said, "Yes, I am staring again arnt I? I dont know why either.." She looked into the pit. There was dried blood at the bottom mixed with dust and dirt. Prisonar torture... Fun... Chloe didnt expect him to answer her, so she continued to ponder how to make a plank or walk way connecting the holes.

This drawing and having a conversation at the same thing was hard for him. It was like splitting his thoughts in two- which it was. It was a bit hard- he didn't have to do it often. Most of the time he just ignored one of the streams of thought and let his subconcious take care of it. So, he focused on his drawing and let another, smaller, part of his mind take over the conversation. If you could really call it that.
" If you knew everything, it'd freak us out to the point of killing you. Since you don't know everything, you won't die that way." It was a relatively thoughtless thing to say, but hey, the small part of his brain that was talking, didn't much care. At least he was speaking to another. That was pretty good.
He sniffed. Even if only a fraction of his brain was focusing on the conversation, it was drawing away from well- his drawing.

Chloe smiled. She didnt hear his voice much. "I guess you're right. I would be killed that way..." She brushed a stray strand of hair out of her face with her right hand. The sky was flooded with blood-red and orange coloring. Sun-set. Everything was differant with the rubble. Everything was differant from when she lived here. It just was. Her eyes ventured to the horizon again, taking in every sight, remembering. A rush of wind fluttered her baggy shirt annoyingly. Chloe's eyes were blank, just staring out into the horizon.

There wasn't much to say to that but, yes I am right. And as the part of his brain that was thinking about conversing, didn't want to say that, it didn't. And since it wasn't speaking, he shut it down. He was methodical that way.
He was done with his graph- so he had to look up. There wasn't much of a skyline expect a bunch of crumbled buildings. Maybe if he found the old Wallstreet building- that might make some sense. But, no. One of the other tribes might try to attack him. Mentally he yawned, and started in on the skyline of the broken city.

Seeing that thier short conversation was over, she sighed slightly and looked back at the skyline. It was night and the moon rising. She had the urge to take a walk, away from the grounds of her tribe and did. Without a single word to Abstract, she left, walking out toward what was called the Grid. She was bord, and annoyed with having nothing to do. Scratching her head as she walked, Chloe moved blindly across the rugged landscape, not knowing where she would go.
