[[Enjoy Tinker, as he reluctantly wanders somewhere other than Vampire Territory~]]
His mouth felt dry, his tongue a heavy presence against the roof of his palate, and he licked his lips in an attempt to wet them with non-existant saliva. His skin crawled with the pent up adrenaline coursing through his veins, waiting to be used but causing him nothing but annoyance in the meantime.
Cain was not the least bit comfortable in the Grid. It was perhaps his dozenth time outside Vampire territories since he'd been taken into the Vampires and assigned a rank. He'd rather spend his time holed up in his workroom, repairing various knicknaks and some of the electronics and mechanical devices that people brought to him to be fixed; or, even better yet, he'd love to while away the hours putting things together from spare parts (his latest accomplishment was a tiny, hand-wound clock that he was quite proud of).
Regardless, necessity and a lack of any commoners to enlist in his task, he'd found himself packing a small sack wtih a few useful odds and ends, as well as a couple of granola bars for later, and setting out for the great section of no-mans-land known as the Grid.
Now if he could only find a building that hadn't been completely picked clean.

Liz's light footsteps followed the vampire carefully. Her time of practicing stelth has come in handy. Though she knew this land belonged to all, yet none of the tribes at the same time, she couldn'tstop feeling the territorial boundries of the Wildcats here. She'd probally even chase someone off their own land.
As she crept closer behind the Vampire, a loud crunch erupted from under the right foot that she just put forward. Stiffening and shooting her hazel eyes wide, pupils turning to pinpricks, she decided to make the best of the moment. "H-hello..." she mumbled quietly, intimidated by his appearance.

Cain turned on his heel, hand closing over the long handle of the socket wrench tucked into his belt in a white knuckled grip. He hadn't realized he was being followed, too caught up in his own little world where he'd been bemoaning everyone and everything, until a missplaced footstep had alerted him to his stalker.
He relaxed, albiet only marginally, when the pursuer turned out to be a Wildcat rather than a Cigarette, as he'd first feared, but he didn't let go of his weapon. Wildcats did have a reputation for brutal violence, after all.
"What do you want?" he asked, slightly breathless from the adrenaline surge that had his skin crawling from the surprise. His tone was wary, but not impolite, yet his expression and stance clearly spoke that if the girl came any closer he'd strike out.

Liz's hazel eyes scanned over the wrench that the Vampire clutched so tightly in his hand. Trying to smile to cover up the fear that was begining to bubble to the surface, she took a half step forward, but seeing the expression of the boy, she stopped and bit her knuckle - a habit she had when she was nervous- and turned her eyes to the ground.
He prbally thinks I'm just some voilent Wildcat she thought to herself begining to blush a deep crimsion. I'll show him... she decided and finished her step forward. "I-I'm sorry if I startled you.." she stared her knuckle still in her mouth. "I've stayed with my tribe for so long, this is the first time I've ever seen anyone from another tribe..." her voice trailed off. Cursing at herself for her other habit, rambling on when she was nervous.
But why was she nervous? As to awnser her question, she lifted the hand that she was bitig and scratched her burning cheeks.

"Back off, lady." Cain hissed, "Back off or I will use this."
It was all bluff, but she didn't need to to know that. In his time in New Pork, the biggest thing he'd killed was a rat that'd found its way into his rooms, and even then he'd been squeemish about it for days afterwards. Killing wasn't his game, and the thought of actually offing another human turned his stomach in knots, but he'd do it if she didn't take the hint. And he was dropping some fu.cking huge hints.
As he spoke he began to step back, slowly so as not to loose his footing and fall; trying to widden the distance between them. She was a Wildcat, smiles or no. For all he knew she had a knife with his name on it hidden on her somewhere.

Liz's eyes instantly fell into sadness. As her eyes turned slowly into a deep glare, she began to speak, but her words of anger got stuck in her throat. The backing away, the threatening, he thought she was a vicious Wildcat... "You think I'm like them?" she accused, trying to keep her voice calm and even. "But you wouldn't hurt me?" she questioned. He didn't looke like he was too into violence. Liz's lips curled into a smile as she continued into a mocking tone. "Or am I just Stereotyping you?" the Wildcat grinned trying to put sarcastic emphasis into her voice.

[Oh hush. I'm busy as heck, I don't need the added badgering. You have other characters, do you not? Play with them. I'm in the middle of dealing with a newborn kitten and a very upset mother cat.]
