One of the definite downsides to not being locked up anymore was that food was no longer as readily available as before. His stomach grumbled in protest as he made his way along. Jibril knew exactly where he was going. One wrong step in this city could land you in territory which was not safe.
The path to this secure place was well memorized, however. Ah, maybe... she would not mind... for a moment if he borrowed her aid. Pushing black strands of hair out of his face he lifted a hand with marred with dirt and dried blood to knock.
Even the servants of God had to live on something more than prayers and faith.

"...What are you doing here?" The sound of footsteps at the end of the street announced Pixie's appearance, on one of her rare excursions outside of her home. The blond girl had stopped, her head tilted to the left, squinting at Jibril. She shuffled a little closer, still squinting - probably needing glasses by now - until recognition flooded her expression. Her mouth widened on a lopsided grin and Pixie all but threw herself at Jibril. Apparently most people didn't like shows of affection, but what was their problem, really?
"You're back!" she chirped cheerfully, throwing her arms around the priest's shoulders.

What was he doing here? What was she doing outside? That... was... well unusual. He opened his mouth to reply when recognition crossed her features.
"Ack-" Not the most intelligible thing to say at the moment as the priest was yanked into the embrace. An uncomfortable surge of tension, before he began relaxing and then he mentally slapped himself. "Ah... hello. Pixie-" He tried to pry himself out of the embrace- slowly. "Ah- would it be alright if you...?" let me straighten up?
Definitely, the priest was in one of his 'less-rambling-about-God' modes, if only for now.

Eventually Pixie detached from Jibril, if not too... willingly. Eying him up and down, she frowned at his appearance, jumping from chipper to judgmental in a blink. Like an admonishing parent - almost. An admonishing parent would manage to make sense most of the time, at least.
"You're not expecting to make me a decent visit all dirty and bloody, are you?" she asked, as if it was the simplest truth in the world. "I won't allow you in this way. You might ruin my equipments."

Straightening up when the other released him, Jibril cleared his throat watching her as she skipped from one mood to another. He blinked as if he had not realized how dirty he was and examined his hand. Blood. Grime. Dirt. Ah...
"I was sort of hoping that you may help me get clean and decent." Violet eyes turned to Pixie again.
Not to mention some food... his stomach rumbled and the priest had the grace to look ever-so-slightly embarrassed about it. "Maybe, some food?" He tried to not look too hopeful.

She pouted, folding her arms across her chest.
"It's quite rude to come begging, you know. Especially when you're all dirty and such." If that was precisely why Jibril was there, the girl didn't seem to grasp it. Her green eyes widened as Pixie tilted her head to the side.
"You God is not a very good one, if he doesn't provide for you," she chirped, as if she had just realized something. "I wouldn't like to follow a god like that one. Nuh-no."

"Begging?" Jibril straightened as if offended by the notion, but then slumped again slightly. He was tired and... well he did need her help. "Asking, Pixie, asking for your aid."
"Does your God help you?" he lifted his hand to her shoulder, ever-so-careful, as he asked, "Does he speak to you? Ask you things?" violet eyes seemed lost for a moment. No, focus. He dropped his hand.
"Never mind... but the fact does remain that unless you help me, I cannot come visit you."

"Hmpf. That's pretty much the same thing." She was all but tapping her foot.
"And my... God...?" Pixie struggled with the word; the very question sounded offensive to the blond girl. "Does yours help you?" Not that it looked like it, if Jibril came to her in such a state. Oh, wait...! "Eh. Perhaps I am your God?" The girl giggled. "It makes sense. If I help you, if I provide for you, I must be your God. Nice thought!"
She paused for a moment, gathering her thoughts, cogs turning on her head, then continued. "And if I'm to be a good God, I must help you, right? I must let you in." Nodding to herself - what a wonderful realization she had just made! - Pixie turned to the door, pressing her hand on a small panel to the right. something clicked, and the door opened a crack. The girl pulled it, making a grand gesture at Jibril to precede her. "Welcome to God's house," she chuckled.

Were this any other time, the priest would have been debating religious matters with the green-eyed girl. He supposed her observations were accurate if not a little unfair, after all God was a busy person he was not expected to listen to everyone.
Jibril smiled at the girl's gesture. God's house? The Inquisitor follow the other inside. God's house... but God was everywhere was he not?
Still... he could not resist the comment, "God is listening to me, Pixie, he sent me you in his place to help me."
No, she was not his God, but certainly her actions showed that He may still be watching out for him. Not that he wanted to get overly technical about it right now.

"No, no, you got it wrong!" she exclaimed. Hopping down the stairs, Pixie stopped and whirled around, planting her hands on her hips. "I'm not here on his place. I am God, my dear. I see everything that goes on on this city, and talk with my little butterflies and ladybirds. Only God can do that. Not his envoys." She stopped abruptly, losing track of what she had been about to say. Then, shrugging, the girl turned again and walked into her 'office', all but jumping into her chair - and making it move halfway across the room in the process. Giggling, she pointed at another chair, then looked at Jibril.
"Your turn!"

She was joking, she had to be. The priest blinked at her uncomprehending or perhaps pretending to not understand, when he did. Jibril just didn't want to do it. He didn't want to dive onto the chair.
...The whole idea had disaster written over it. In capital letters.
"Ah, no, Pixie, I don't think that is such a good idea." he straightened, striding to the chair with the intention of sitting on it. But not that sliding thing.
Part of him wondered if it had been that necessary for him to come here. Then again maybe He was testing him. ... Testing his sanity it seemed. Or perhaps his patience. Although really Pixie was likable. Really. Just... ah, too much thinking.
The priest all but dropped onto the chair, exhausted.

The girl tutted, shaking her head.
"You are a big party pooper, you know?" She pouted for a moment, tapping the chair's arm with her fingertips. "When in my house, you play by my rules. Come on, if my rules were nasty, I could understand it. But they are fun, so...!" Pixie tilted her head to the side and shrugged. "Chair sliding is cool. You'll like it when you get used to it. ...Your God - me! - likes it, so you have nothing to do but like it as well," she finished with a triumphant smile.

Jibril would have liked to point that she for a God- was very bossy- but instead he shut his mouth and offered a lopsided smile. After all, she was 'God' here and he was using her hospitality.
Even if it was on behalf of 'his' God.
There was nothing as peaceful as his church and well- lifting one hand lazily he ran it across his messy black hair. He may as well play her game while on her grounds.
"Getting around the Grid these days seems rather hazardous, it was surprising to see you out at all." Jibril didn't know what was going on but there was a certain restless feel in the air, uncomfortable and...
...unwelcoming.

[Playing both Pixie and Jack's going to drive me nuts one of these days. ^^]
"God fears nothing. Why should I, then?" Pixie tilted her head to the side, gripping the seat of the chair with both hands. "I like to take my stroll once in a while. It's... interesting." She frowned momentarily.
"How rude of me! Oh, you must excuse me, I was so impolite... Want a granola bar?" She was pretty sure there would be granola bars somewhere on her stash. If there weren't - well, she would find something else.

"Interesting." Jibril repeated staring at the girl from where he was, it was never polite to stare but he did anyway. He observed her for a few minutes, seemingly decided something and then tilted his head the other way, looking past her to the back of the room.
"Yes. Please."
A granola bar sounded good, his stomach agreed. Although right now, anything edible sounded good.
God.
And if God had a face-
-Jibril wondered.
Well, admittedly- it was safe in here. Or at least he felt more comfortable in this place, but it was not the soothing solitude of the church ruins but...
God.
And if his head would stop-
-Jibril shifted uncomfortable.
Outside?
"Interesting? Depraved. Corrupt. Sinful."
