Poet didn't seem to ever get tired of walking around New Pork. She probably knew this town better than anyone - if only she was able to stop forgetting things repeatidly. Well, having promised John that she wasn't going to check on the Vampires - not that she was a person that usually followed her promises - Poet reached the domain of Pixie, or Pinky, as the girl liked to call her.
She stopped by the door and grabbed a cigarette, grabbing it between her lips and lighting it with the lighter John was semi-forced to give to her. The girl looked up and searched for something.
"Ora, ora, onde era a engenhoca? Ah, sim! Ali.", she looked around for the camera, spotting it. She took a long drag of the cigarette and waved at the gadget. "Yo.", she smirked, before exhaling the smoke out of her lungs, by her nose. "Have a seat I can borrow? Something is happening in the Vampires' nest, and I'm sure you know it. Right, Pinky?", she grinned and chuckled.

There was a low buzz as the sensor of movement was activated. The camera wheezed around, looking for any intruders, and focused its lens on Poet. Pixie's voice cracked through the micro. "Poet! How nice of you to come and see me, darling. But that dirty thing doesn't enter my rooms, dear. Put it off." Despite its mellow, childish tone, the voice was peremptory; Pixie wouldn't open the door as long as Poet held a lit cigarette.
[Ugh. Crappy muse.]

Oi? The kid is calling me darling like she was some kind of adult? She's funny., Poet arched her eyebrows and tipped her head to the side, smoking the cigarette quickly. She wasn't going to waste it. Smoking it all, she threw the remaining to the floor and stepped on it, exhaling the smoke out of her lungs again, for the last time - for now, at least. She tipped her head up and then frowned.
"Now, why did I do that? ... Oh, yeah! Right, right. Pinky.", she turned her head to the camera and smiled, tipping her hat idly. "Done, done.", she repeated, holding her hands up to her for no reason at all. "Can I come in?"

"Now that's better." Pixie's grin was almost patent by her voice. The micro clicked as it went off, and the door opened, revealing the usual common blue light outlining it. It came from inside, through the door at the foot of a steel staircase.
In her quarters, Pixie closed the laptop lid, turning around on her chair and drumming its arms with her pink-gloved hands. Her head was turned slightly sideways, and she stared through the entrance, waiting for Poet to come closer, a playful glint on her green eyes.

Poet snorted amusedly and passed through th entrance, tripping almost immeadiatly after entering, on some wires. She blinked when she hit the floor, but didn't care much. Snorting, she hopped to her feet and dusted herself off. Looking around curiously. "Now, this is poetry.", she chuckled to herself, dragging a hand against the wall.
Reaching the girl's quarters, she blinked and looked around. She spotted - easily - Pixie, in her pink and purple clothes, and waved a hand at her. "Yo, Pinky.", she chuckled and walked to her. "So, tell me, why have I been asked to stay away from the Vampires by Commando?", she asked directly, looking around curiously.

Pixie waved a hand toward a metal chair, smiling. "Good afternoon for you too, Poet. Sometimes I think you should learn some manners." It was not meant as an insult; it was a simple statement, however blunt it might be. Pixie wasnot exactly an expert on the way of relationships. "Uh, Commando, the Vampires?" She paused, chuckling to herself. "Now that's a funny story. Very funny indeed. One day I might tell you that one; I bet you would like to hear it, don't you think?"

"Manners? In this city? Whatever for, Pinky?", she laughed, looking at the chair and happily slump down on it, folding her hands over her unhealthily thin stomach, looking tired and a little sick under those eerie lights of the room. She looked at her toes, wiggling them and flapping the flip-flops against her feet mutely. She heard her with her lips pulled foward, as a bored child would, and scratched the back of her neck idly, before folding her hands again.
"Ah, c'mon, Pinky.", she smiled up at her and crossed her legs at her ankles. "You know I'm dying to hear that story. And you know how the others are, never having time to listen to your stories. You're a great storyteller, their loss if they don't want to hear. I, however, have come here to listen to them. So, please, pretty please, with sugar and stuff on top, do tell the story of this confusion, or whatever it might be."

Pixie beamed, and almost reached out to mess up Poet's hair. She had the hat on, though - so she thought better of it. "You're so sweet, you know?" she asked with that candid, innocent smile. "Oh, but manners are useful, especially here. Without them, we would be all at each other's neck. You must know that." She paused for a while, rolling her eyes as if in thought, then continued. "The Cigarettes caught a Vampire girl. Short, skinny, crazed brown hair?" Pixie looked at Poet, to check if she recognized the girl. "Dancer. There were problems in Castle Smoke. Seraphim and Rattlesnake were locked up with her, and the girl ended up half dead. Well, not half dead, but it seemed she had been through hell and back. Then Seraphim went nuts, and gave himself up to the Vampires. Reason thought it a good idea to give the girl back - silly, wasn't she? - and trotted up to their turf. So now the Vampires have both Dancer and Seraphim, and I bet they are having fun. Amusing themselves." Pixie ended up the speech with a blank smile, her eyes slightly glazed, as if she was quite far from where she sat.

Poet blinked. That sure was a first. She smiled and chuckled, shrugging a little at the description of Dancer, for, even if she did know her, she probably wouldn't remember. She listened to the story and nodded a little, scratching her chin with her index fingertip idly. She yawned and nodded.
"Ah. See? Manners are useless. They have manners, and they still lunge at each others' necks.", she snorted, amused, and straightned on her chair. "So, where do you keep your cameras? I'm sure you have a gazillion of those gadgets here and there, and they ought to pick up some images, no?", she asked, pulling the chair nearby Pixie and poking her knee idly.

"Well, but imagine if they didn't have manners. You don't want me lunging at your neck, right?" Pixie continued smiling, but flinched away from Poet's touch. A glare passed over her face, if only for a second. "Don't touch me." It was gone as soon as it had come, and Pixie turned to the computer, opening it. With a few clicks, three windows popped open on the screen. The topmost held a view of the Cigarettes' plaza, in the middle of Ghetto Gospel. There were some figures moving around, none close enough to distinguish features. "There you go. Happy?"
[And muse's still dead. *Begins CPR*]

( Rofl. XD *Phoenix down?* XD;; )
Poet blinked at her reaction of an idle poke. She snickered, amused, and shrugged at Pixie's question - she knew it wasn't supposed to answer to it, as it was a rethorical one, but she did it nonetheless.
"Ah, lunging at my neck, punching my nose, kicking my guts... What's new?", she snorted, and then leaned over, bending over her stomach, to take a closer look of the windows hovering on the screen. Poet smirked and tipped her glasses up with her middle finger, her brown eyes following the people idly. She then arched her eyebrows up and leaned back on her chair, watching Pixie quietly, before snickering.
"Eyes of the city, are you not?", she laughed and stood up, brushing herself off. She walked around the room idly, her flip-flops making a soft sound as she examined the room - even though she was paying little attention. She chuckled to herself and looked over her shoulder, to the girl in pink and purple. "Ah, nevermind that.", she waved her hand dismissevely. She scratched her head and smiled to herself, poking the wall idly.

"Eyes of the city, you said?" Pixie giggled. "Yes, yes. I believe that is quite right, my dear." She pressed a key and the screen turned off. Then, she turned her chair around, pulled her feet up and curling on a tight ball on the chair. It gave a complete turn and came to a stop in the same place. With a sigh, Pixie put out a hand and pushed the desk in front of her, so the chair turned again until she faced Poet. The girl tilted her head to the side, narrowing her eyes and shaking her golden locks.
She certainly has no sense about style. How can that be, walking around with that coconut hat? That's awful.
"So..." She paused, trying to remember something. The regular sound of the flip-flops was unnerving. "...Poet. Yeah, that's it." Pixie looked pleased with herself. "How is life out there? You know, you can always join me. I have spare rooms. But you'd have to leave those horrible cigarettes behind."

She chuckled quietly, shaking her head. "No, thanks, Pinky.", she rubbed the back of her neck and tipped her head to the side, watching her. "I'm afraid that poetry and cigarettes are my drugs; and I'm a heavy junkie.", she laughed and leaned back on her heels, sliding her hands in her pockets. "Plus, I like being alone.", she gestured blankly with a hand. Turning her head, she coughed a little, putting a hand over her mouth. It was a cough that clearly spoke that she should quit smoking, but, no matter what, she wouldn't.
"Anyway.", she said, after recovering her voice, still holding the hand over her mouth. She grabbed a tissue from her pocket and wiped her hand and mouth on it, before scruffing it on her hands and tucking it inside her pocket. "The Vampires have both Dancer and Seraphim, right? Interesting.", Poet snickered and crossed her arms over her chest. "Anything else? What about the Wharf Rats or the Wildcats? The Berserker is around?", she wondered, tipping her head. "And the other new leader, how's she doing?", she smiled. "Tell me their stories so far, Pinky. I like hearing you talk."

Pixie positively beamed. "Oh... You're nice, Poet. The others don't appreciate my stories, but you know better. I like that." With a soft and not so high-pitched giggle, she continued. "I have absolutely no idea what's going on with the Wildcats. They're having problems, I think. No one's seen their leaders in a loooooong while. They might have died. Pity, ain't it?" She cackled, that insane fire burning low on her green eyes. "The Berserker... She blinks in and out. Hard to see, for such a big girl, you know? And she certainly can't mantain a conversation to save her life. I wonder how many words does she know...?"

Poet snorted and stretched her arms above her head, before arching her eyebrows and smirking. "Oh, I think she knows more than she lets out.", she let a brief taste of mystery hoovering on the air, before laughing.
"Anything else interesting going on, Pinky?", she walked around the hideout she was currently in, observing with curiousity her surroundings, one hand snugged inside her pants pocket, the other tapping with the index finger the walls and wires.

From her chair, Pixie stared intently at Poet as she went around her room. "Don't touch those!" she all but spat. "They're mine." A brief pout appeared on her lips, then it vanished as quickly as it had come into view. Pixie shook her hair, golden locks swiveling around with the movement. "No. I think not, at least for now. And what I don't know, it's not too interesting, is it?" A last moment thought surged into her mind. "Oh. And the cute little Rats caught a loner. Poor kid, they're such brutes..." Even if her words suggested compassion, none was lst on her absent expression.

Poet smiled at the information she gave her, before turning around and arching her eyebrow. "Well... If that's all you have.", she smiled and shrugged. "Thank you. I love to hear your stories. I'll be sure to come around here soon.", the girl snickered, before sliding her hand to her jacket's pocket, taking out a cigarette and putting it between her lips.
"Well, been nice talking to you, Pinky. I'll see you around. Or the other way around.", she snorted and waved her hand at her, before walking down the hall she came, singing some kind of weird song, all relaxed.

"See you", chirped Pixie, whirling about on her chair, slipping back to face the laptop. With a smile of pleasure, she started working - or whatever else she was doing - again, the sound of birds surging into the room as she typed. As Poet walked out of the room, Pixie was already singing to herself, having completely forgotten the situation; or, at least, pushed it to a far corner of her mind.
