Times have ever-changed since the beginning, since the Bhau were created in Kael’s image. The Bhau were given the magnificent world of Euleos to cultivate, care for, and call as their own. They were given the knowledge to build and the wisdom to flourish. Massive and even advanced cities were raised from the ground. The Bhau populated all corners of the world. Everything they did was for the glory of Kael and his kin.
Roads go ever ever on,
Over rock and under tree,
By caves where never sun has shone,
By streams that never find the sea;
Over rock and under tree,
By caves where never sun has shone,
By streams that never find the sea;
The peace and prosperity was not to last long though. Trouble was bound to come and create tribulation for the god-fearing Bhau. After 4000 years trouble erupted as Kael’s twin brother, Neitherus, the God of Death, over-stepped his boundaries. Avoiding Kael’s sight, Neitherus bedded a group of Bhau women who all conceived. They returned home only to be banished when their monstrous offspring were born. From Neitherus’ sin came the horrible Aki-Dhus. The God of Death was punished without mercy and killed. From his essence came his successor, Nie’tra, a Goddess.
Over snow by winter sown,
And through the merry flowers of June,
Over grass and over stone,
And under mountains in the moon.
And through the merry flowers of June,
Over grass and over stone,
And under mountains in the moon.
Much to the disdain of the Gods, the Aki-Dhus took land for themselves. They built a citadel to spite the Gods and to resurrect their sinful father. The Bhau had no idea the plans of these monsters as they went about their peaceful life. Meanwhile a new race was emerging in the swamps, the origin of these creatures… unknown. It was found out that this new race was hostile with the disappearance of Bhau diplomats.
Roads go ever ever on
Under cloud and under star,
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
Under cloud and under star,
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
With the finding of the Citadel, the Bhau attacked it. They could not allow the Aki-Dhus to complete their ultimate but soon fell into the trap. The former God of Death was resurrected with the death of 1000 Bhau soldiers. Neitherus stated a divine war while his children fought on terra. Only three Gods survived Neitherus’ wrath. Those three Gods, Lithura, Rokker, and Nie’tra were the downfall of Neitherus. The Aki-Dhus could never give life to their father again. After dealing with Neitherus, the living Gods turned their attention to his children. They destroyed the Citadel with the monsters inside. Those Aki-Dhus who managed to live were banished to a wasteland in another world.
Eyes that fire and sword have seen
And horror in the halls of stone
Look at last on meadows green
And trees and hills they long have known.
And horror in the halls of stone
Look at last on meadows green
And trees and hills they long have known.
As much as the Gods believed that trouble was over now that the Aki-Dhus were gone of course one found a way to escape. Luckily for Euleos, his brothers and sisters could not follow him. He aligned with the marsh monsters and further evolved them and helped them to grow stronger. These new creatures became the downfall of the Bhau. The survivors formed a settlement for themselves. The once flourishing Bhau was now dying out. Other races such as the Berenan and Akell were taking hold of the world but not without the marsh creatures developing into the Krna and another race called the Taura suddenly appearing.
It was finally the Akell that emerged on top of all the other races. Though they were controlling and vain, Euleos found refuge in this race. The Aki-Dhus again made an attempt to escape and were successful. They created a portal which ended up in the creation of Trurova, the floating city, to control the energy portal. Of course the Akell could not let it simply exist to protect… they needed to convert it into a weapon and further express their dominance.
The Aki-Dhus ended up finding ways to open small portals every few hundred years. The couple monsters that escaped managed to trick the disgruntled individuals of the ruling races. Thus several different rogue factions were formed. Though the base population of Aki-Dhus remains contained, the monsters that have escaped and those that remain trapped continue to look for their escape…
Now find your destiny in...
