Name: Elwood Flint
Alias: Doctor
Age: 11
Gender: Male
Weapon(s): Carries several sharp objects with him but with no intention of using them as a weapon
Tribe: Vampires
Rank: [Choose]
Nationality: British
Politics: Doesn't really pay too much attention to politics
Romantic orientation: Romance? Elwood? He'd just as soon clip off a couple of your fingers than he would shake your hand...
Appearance: Elwood has always been considered a looming, and eerie presence in the company of others. By possessing the sort of atmosphere that seems to easily unnerve, his pretty much normal appearance is commonly misinterpreted to be chilling although it's not as much his appearance as it is the aura that hovers around him. Like his mother and father, Elwood has pale blonde hair, almost mistaken for white at times if the contrast of the environment and his hair is particularly great. Although it is quite uneven and rather messy now, only but a few months ago it was professionally cropped to perfection. The signs of the neatness still show despite the bed-head look. His skin-tone is rather pale due to years of staying in his room and carefully avoiding his parent's many guests at all the formal parties they threw. His face is still very young and his features are not fully grown in. He has black, obsidian eyes that look rather beady at times, kind of frightening. That kid will stare at you with them, and you'll never be quite sure of what he's looking for. The boy's apparel is all but neat, wearing oversized shirts often marred with bloodstains and old jeans with holes worn into the knees. Somehow he managed to find himself a white lab coat. He loves that thing. Can't imagine why really, it's far too big for him and trails on the floor and it's just as red-stained as his shirt. He also wears this eye-patch over his right eye. It's not that his eye is gone or blind or anything, he just likes wearing it. Overall his outfit makes him look like loony. Ignoring that though, his shoes are always black, and are always very clean and shiny, most figure that it must be some kind of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Clean shoes. That's it. Also despite his many protests, he does bear some semblance to a mouse... Or maybe it's a rat...
Attitude: If you had to pick one person, place or thing to describe the word 'creepy' you'd be pretty well off with Elwood. There's not much to him really, at least not much that people can see. He is usually only fitted in one of two expressions: a bored, apathetic look or a devious, plotting smirk. A twinkle in his eye and an upward quirk at the corner of his mouth usually signals an idea that's dark and macabre in nature. His obsessions are exceedingly strange and somewhat disturbing to the mind. He has a strong curiosity, and a heavy fascination with certain things. This wouldn't be so odd, but it's what he's fascinated with that scares most people. The fact of the matter is that Elwood is obsessed with the paranormal and occult and... Well... dead things. He has a morbid imagination, and such a captivation with death that it's almost sickening. He is very well known for dragging up dead bodies into his room and after that who knows what happens. Rumor has it that he likes to perform certain experiments on the bodies to see what they died from. Some people say he'll open them up just to see the inside and record sketches and observations in a large journal of his. Both of these rumors would be, in fact, correct. But what the rumors don't tell you is that he does much more than just that. He examines certain points and organs -- the jugular, heart, large intestine etc. physically taking them out of the body to observe. He talks to his 'patients', gives them names, and personalities as if they were actually alive. He makes up a past for the corpses, usually quite far-fetched, and tells their 'life story' to anybody who asks about the torn-up dead body on his table. Nobody is quite certain what exactly happens to his 'patients', only that they conveniently disappear from his table all of a sudden.
It's not only dead humans that Elwood likes to collect, he has quite the quantity of dead moths, butterflies, dragonflies, spiders etc. pinned to several wooden boards and hung with care around his room which reeks of a decaying smell, and although barely furnished it is somewhat decorated with make-shift scare-crows, and home-made voodoo dolls and the like. Aside from the grisly atmosphere and the arcane obsession, Elwood is generally an antisocial child. He doesn't eat a lot, which leads to gossip about him eating his patients. True or not he rarely comes out for food. In stead, he ventures out of his cellar usually only to find people willing to donate a couple fingers or such to his 'scientific cause', even if sometimes they are not quite as... Willing as he would have hoped...
Notable History: It's not that much of a surprise that Elwood left for New Pork. Everybody who ever came in contact with him suspected it. Everybody that is, except his parents. Those blissful air heads. They were probably the only ones shocked about the whole ordeal. No surprise there, neither of them paid any attention to either of their two children at all. Father was always away at business conferences. Mother was always at formal parties. Elwood suspected that the only time they ever looked at him and his twin sister was the day they were born. After that, they dropped the pair of misfits off with a nanny they hired and set up a voice recording on the phone for the two so that whenever the children called them in distress it would say nice things like 'I love you' or 'There, there... It's all right...'. Or at least, that's what little Woody suspected.
Their parents must've hated each other. That's what Elwood and Emily had figured out together. It made sense. The two were never at the same place at the same time, they always had to call separate numbers to get them. And that's probably why neither of them could look at their children either, it was a reminder that yes, once in their lifetimes they were fooled by the illusion that they actually loved each other. It was easy to see that mother had many affairs. She would always get off the phone in a rushed sort of way, then sometimes there would be a giggle before she hung up, or some kissing noises. It couldn't have been their father since their father was always apart from her. Elwood didn't called her much. The twins' father probably wasn't having an affair, he was too absorbed in his work for anything like that. But rarely could Woody or Emma get him on the phone, he was always busy. Most of the time the two children lived quietly in the mansion with Nanny, the cook, and a few maids -- not many. When father and mother were home, they didn't have enough time to hug their children. They were too busy getting ready for another party and avoiding each other. Which meant Emma had to go awe the crowd with her piano playing and Elwood had to march up to his room so he didn't scare the guests off with is ramblings about the human makeup.
Father's company was in New York when the plague hit. He wasn't there, and neither was mother. But the company was, and it was disastrous for Father. When Father came home, trying to pick up the pieces, Elwood thought he actually met him for the first time. And he didn't like him. Mother, distraught, came to figure out what the financial situation would be. Elwood didn't like her either, she acted like a harlot. When father and mother were stressing over their crash, they hugged the twins for one of the first times. Emily gratefully endured it, Elwood pushed them both away.
11:23 PM. that's when he started packing. He was finished by midnight. He had a stash of money in his pack and a few other creepy things. He hadn't really thought to bring food, even though he had been planning this for months now. It would be easy enough to get outside, he would board a bus and then take a boat to New Jersey. After that he would go to New Pork. He had already made arrangements with the captain. His boat was pretty small, he didn't usually take passengers, but money is a powerful persuader and Elwood had a lot of it. He had left his sister a note, and a teddy bear with an eye patch. It was something to remember him by. And quietly exiting out the door, he was gone in a flash.
Reputation: Elwood is obsessed with the paranormal and dead things. He often asks people if they'd be willing to donate a couple of fingers, a hand, toes, or a tongue[etc.] for his 'scientific research'. He has extensive collections of bones and dead bugs and a fascination with poisons. There are rumors that he disposes of the dead bodies he finds and carries into his room by actually eating them, this is not true. We're not quite sure what he does with the bodies really. He one day hopes to find somebody sane to cut off his right hand so he can replace it with a hook, because obviously it'd be stupid to have somebody insane agree to cut off your right hand for no real reason. He has a stash of rat poisoning, and toxic cleaning products etc. under his bed. He idolizes, and respects Mina, Sven, and Sven's hair -- which he considers to be a totally different person within itself[Also seems to want some of Mina's hair... Just a foot maybe...]. He has the hint of a Yorkshire accent and dialect because his Nanny had one and he and his sister usually only talked to her. He earned his alias because he calls the corpses he examines his patients.
